Unlike the more complex TRX-4 variants, the Sport version removes selectable locking differentials and two-speed transmission to create a lighter, simpler, and extremely robust crawler platform optimized for durability and trail reliability.

At the core of the vehicle is the TRX-4 steel ladder frame chassis, which provides exceptional torsional rigidity and precise suspension geometry. The crawler is equipped with portal axles, a key feature that increases ground clearance while reducing torque twist and improving overall drivetrain efficiency. Power is delivered through the Titan® 21T 550 brushed motor paired with the waterproof XL-5 HV electronic speed controller, supporting both NiMH and LiPo batteries.
